lisa was my beautiful great dane born 1979, died 1989.she had arthritis, she fell and cracked her spine and was left paralised. rocky was a collie x beagle born 1991 died 2000, he died of a form of asthma. bonnie came to us in 1990 and died in 1999. she had been unwell for some days. the vet was treating her for an infection but sadly she passed away very sudden of what seemed like a heart attack. bonnie took a shine to rocky and the result was cindy born in 1991 and died in 2005. she had arthritis, and was in a lot of pain. also had heart trouble. the vet advised us to let her go.and also remembering, rex, prince, pepi, penny, poppet, tina, shep, max, donna, these have all been in my life, from when i was a child.rest in peace, i loved you all and miss you so much. it broke my heart to lose you
I often think of you...
Sometimes when i walk to the shops
I see something that reminds me of you and of memories that had once been
Sometimes i think of you in my room
While day dreaming about times that we used to share
Sometimes i will remember something you used to do
While i cook my dinner or put on my shoes
You see Angel your not forgotten
Far from it infact
Your memory is left intact
Why? well, because i keep you Alive
In my own way i keep you with me
The life lessons learnt with you serve me down the road
The funny things you did still make me laugh
The Love you gave me lives on
So know i think of you,
Maby not every day but in my heart always.

Home At Last
The trees were blowing in the gentle breeze
The sun was shining thru the leaves on the trees,
The meadows are green and the grass grows tall
Off in the distance you can see a waterfall.
Over the falls; down through the creek
The water flows gently as a rabbit sneaks a peek,
Far up above in the deep blue sky
The birds soar high as they fly by.
The animals play
At the bridge by the waterfall chasing each other
and just having a ball
They play all day from morning to night
There's no more rain; just warm sunlight.
Off in the distance, the trumpets would blow
All would look up and notice a bright glow,
The harps would play and the angels would sing
As another pet has come home, who had earned their wings.

When I must leave you for a little while
Please do not grieve and shed wild tears
And hug your sorrow to you through the years.

Reach out your hand in comfort and in cheer

I just wanted to let you know that I made it home. The journey wasn't an easy one, but it didn't take too long.
Everything is so pretty here, so white, so fresh and new I wish that you could close your eyes and that you could see it too. Please try not to be sad for me. Try to understand God is taking care of me...I'm in the shelter of His hands.
Here there is no sadness, no sorrow, and no pain. Here there is no crying and I'll never hurt again. Here it is so peaceful when all the angels sing. I really have to go for now... I've just got to try my wings.
